The World Youth Heart Federation (WYHF) is a global, youth-led nonprofit founded in 2020 to advance cardiovascular health worldwide. We empower individuals under 35 by providing a platform for young leaders from diverse fields to drive bold, systemic change. Guided by five strategic pillars, we support impactful initiatives to foster intersectional collaboration and design data-driven, scalable solutions for prevention, access, and care. Our work spans borders and disciplines, making heart health a shared global priority, because every heartbeat matters.

Founder's Message

When we launched the World Youth Heart Federation in 2020, cardiovascular disease was already the leading cause of death worldwide. What struck us was not just the scale of the problem but who was missing from the response. The people who would inherit this burden, young people, were rarely at the table where decisions about prevention, access, and care were made. This generation should not wait for permission to act. Mortality at this scale cannot be solved by any single discipline or country. It demands collaboration from those closest to the future. That belief shapes everything we do.
