Introduction

The Technology Committee builds the digital tools that carry WYHF's mission further than people alone can reach. Cardiovascular disease is a problem of scale and access, and technology, used well, is how a small team of young people touches a million lives. Used poorly, it widens the very gaps it promised to close. The committee designs and develops digital health solutions that make cardiovascular prevention, education, and care more accessible, especially where specialists and resources are scarce. This spans mobile applications, data platforms, telehealth and remote-screening models, and low-cost innovations built for low-resource settings, such as tools that turn everyday objects into life-saving teaching aids. Its guiding test is not how advanced a solution is, but how many people it reaches and how reliably it works in the hands of those who need it most. Grounded in WYHF's belief that the people closest to the future should help build it, the Technology Committee treats young people not as users of technology handed down to them, but as the builders engineering the tools that will define the next era of heart health.
